Day 11

Today I dove into the magical world of milkshakes.
I'm lactose intolerant, so I *try* to avoid dairy, but that doesn't mean I have to miss out on milkshakes, because there's this miraculous stuff called soy ice cream, and it actually tastes pretty good!
So this morning for breakfast I blended up a piece of peach pie with some ice cream, and that was pretty darn tasty. For dessert tonight my dad blended up a bunch of toasted marshmallows with ice cream and poured some rice krispies on top for rice krispie treat milkshake! SO GOOD.

Today I went to an hour of church. Didn't even drool.
Everyone is just too nice. Seriously. All my neighbors keep bringing smoothies over, and our fridge is overflowing!

This week I have both surgeon and orthodontist appointments, a haircut appointment, school registration stuff to go to, my first day back at cross country practice, and my first night back at work. Gonna be exciting!

I started to really like my new face today... good thing!

This is my wicked IV bruise that is still here.

That's a pretty wicked IV bruise. Can you straighten your arm yet? It took me about a month to be able to completely straighten my arm again, it was so sore from the IV!
Good luck with all your appointments and things :)

And second of all, I can straighten my arm, but it does hurt a little to do so!
From your blog, it looks like you're doing superb!
